Homeopathy medicines can be taken with other medicines. In some cases based on the chronicity of the illness, if the patient is already on conventional medicines, the homoeopathy doctors suggest continuing the use of both the conventional and homeopathy medicines and gradually reduce the doses of conventional medicines for better cure. Homoeopathy medicines also help in reducing the side effects of conventional medicines. However prolonged use of any homeopathic medicine without the consultation of the doctor may produce adverse effects.
